BOTANICAL GARDENS MANAGER | DECATUR CAMPUS

Full Time Position | $49,669 – $62,000
The Botanical Gardens Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic growth of Georgia State’s five-acre botanical garden and greenhouse. This role manages staff, student employees, volunteers, budgets, events, and plant sales while leading community outreach, educational programming, grant development, and partnerships that support conservation, student learning, and public engagement. Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and five years of administrative experience; or a high school diploma or GED and nine years of administrative experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a nursery and retail.

• Degree (minimum associate’s) in horticulture or

related field.

• Experience in greenhouse and nursery management.
